Welcome to Hamilton Preparatory School, a place where learning comes alive and students thrive. Our school has been dedicated to providing excellence in education and fostering a supportive environment for all learners. We currently serve 850 students from kindergarten through grade 12.
## Our History
Hamilton Preparatory School was established by Dr. Margaret Chen and a group of dedicated educators who envisioned a school that would combine academic rigor with a nurturing community atmosphere. What began as a small school with 120 students has grown into a thriving institution recognized for its innovative programs and commitment to student success. We have received the National Blue Ribbon Award for Academic Excellence and have been designated as a STEM Education Leader by the National Science Foundation.

## Our Approach
We believe in student-centered learning that encourages critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills. Our experienced faculty members, with an average of 12 years of teaching experience, work closely with students to ensure each child receives the attention and support they need to succeed. With a student-to-teacher ratio of 12:1, we can provide individualized attention that makes a real difference.
## Leadership
Our school is led by Principal Dr. James Richardson, who has been with Hamilton Preparatory School for many years, first as a science teacher, then as Assistant Principal, and now as Principal. He is supported by Assistant Principal Ms. Sofia Martinez and Academic Director Dr. Robert Kim.
